Aurora Technologies, based in Waltham, Massachusetts, was founded in January 1989 with 
the express purpose of providing a simpler data communications alternative for UNIX workstation 
users - Node-Resident Networking. A simple definition of Node-Resident Networking is any 
connectivity solution that resides inside, or attaches to, a workstation or server node.  This solution 
is in direct contrast to the conventional approach in Ethernet networks, which is to attach a separate, stand-alone device directly to the LAN.  Node-Resident Networking can offer many benefits that
